Shawn Regan

Shawn Regan is a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute. His writing has appeared in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, National Review, Reason, High Country News, and more. His research has been published in journals such as Science, Natural Resources Journal, Utah Law Review, and other academic publications. Before  joining MI, Regan was the vice president of research at the Property and Environment Research Center, where he also served as executive editor of PERC Reports. He has testified before both houses of Congress and has appeared on national radio outlets such as NPR and Marketplace. He holds a M.S. in applied economics from Montana State University and degrees in economics and environmental science from Berry College. He is also a former backcountry ranger for the National Park Service.
