Vice President, Research & Publications

Brandon Fuller is the vice president for research and publications at the Manhattan Institute. Fuller's writing on policy issues related to housing, land use, transportation, immigration, and economics have appeared in City Journal, CityLab, CapX, The Federalist, Cityscape, and Forbes.

Prior to joining the Manhattan Institute, Fuller was deputy director and research scholar at the Marron Institute of Urban Management at New York University, an applied research center that works with residents, officials, and practitioners to improve urban life. Fuller was also part of the founding team at the Urbanization Project, a research center at NYU's Stern School of Business focused on rapid urbanization and economic prosperity in low- and middle-income countries.

Prior to joining NYU, Fuller was director of Charter Cities, a non-profit that focused on the potential for new cities to advance reform in rapidly urbanizing countries. Before that, Fuller was part of Aplia, an education technology start-up in the San Francisco Bay Area devoted to increasing student effort and engagement in brick-and-mortar college courses. Fuller started his career as an adjunct professor of economics at his alma mater, the University of Montana in Missoula, from which he received a B.A. and an M.A. in Economics.
