Julia Vitullo-Martin is a political scientist who co-authored the first federally funded studies of Catholic schools in the mid-1970s. She is the editor of Breaking Away: The Future of Cities.

Bruce Davidson, a member of Magnum Photos, has had two one-man shows at the Museum of Modern Art. His books include East 100th Street, Bruce Davidson Photographs, Subway, and—most recently—Central Park.
