Thornton Selected Responses: Sent by Les on 11-28-2007: It truly does my heart good to hear someone point out that Muslims have been the aggressors against Christendom since the Muslim religion's inception. If only Emperor Heraclius had won that battle on the Yarmuk. Sent by D. S. Most on 11-27-2007: Bruce Thornton is right on the mark with his analysis of the Christian leaders' response to the letter from the Muslim leaders. Those church leaders obviously have not studied history and do not have an accurate perception of the history of Islam. Shame on them for their fawning, subservient, dhimmi attitude. Sent by Chauncey Chapman on 11-27-2007: In the Koran, I think 9:22, it says that Allah had no son. In the New Testament, I think John 23:5, it says that if you deny the Son, you deny the Father.
So both religions say the other is false.
