Heather Mac Donald Selected Responses: Sent by Stephen Schwimmer on 07-19-2007: Mac Donald writes: "Would it have killed Al Sharpton or Charles Barron to have sent a group of their regulars to the indictments of Bostic, Ellis, and Jones, to protest the taking of officers' lives?"
From my eyewitness observation: on the day that the two perpetrators arrested in Pennsylvania were first arraigned, there was a group to protest, who assembled across the street from the court house door. However, they were protesting against mythical racist cops and the homicide of Sean Bell, complete with large poster boards being worn around their necks. I have no doubt that these folks were supporters of Charles Barron, Al Sharpton and their ilk. They couldn't even contain their hatred of the police at the arraignment of cop killers.
