Theodore Dalrymple is a physician who regularly sees patients in an English prison. He is a contributing editor of City Journal, a columnist for the London Spectator, and a frequent contributor to the Daily Telegraph.

Bruce Davidson, a member of Magnum Photos, has had two one-man shows at the Museum of Modem Art. His books include Bruce Davidson Photographs, Subway, and Central Park.

Jonathan Foreman is a contributing editor of City Journal and a contributing writer at The National Law Journal. He has written for The New Yorker, Los Angeles Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, and National Review.

Peter Huber is a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute and author of the recently published Law and Disorder in Cyberspace. He has done consulting and legal work for Bell Atlantic and other local phone companies.

Stefan Kanfer, a contributing editor of City Journal and a former editor of Time, is the author of several novels and four social histories. He is now working on a critical biography of Groucho Marx.

E. V. Kontorovich is a New York writer and a contributing editor of the Forward. His articles have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, National Review, and the New York Post.

Heather Mac Donald is a contributing editor of City Journal and John M. Olin Fellow at the Manhattan Institute. Her articles have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, The New Republic, The New Criterion, and the New York Times.

Jane Ridley is a historian at Buckingham University and the author of The Young Disraeli. She is a great-grand daughter of Edwin Lutyens and is now writing his biography.

Wendy Shalit is a contributing editor of City Journal. Her articles have appeared in Commentary, the Wall Street Journal, National Review, First Things, and The Weekly Standard.

Sol Stern, a contributing editor of City Journal, has written for Commentary and the Wall Street Journal and has served as a policy analyst for the governments of New York City and New York State.

William J. Stern is a contributing editor of City Journal. He chaired Governor Cuomo's 1982 campaign and from 1983 to 1985 headed the state's Urban Development Corporation.

Leo Trachtenberg wrote and directed documentary films and writes for the publications department of the New York Yankees. He is the author of a history of the 1927 Yankees, The Wonder Team.
