Brian C. Anderson is senior editor of City Journal and the author of Raymond Aron: The Recovery of the Political. His current book is South Park Conservatives: The Revolt Against Liberal Media Bias.

Michael Knox Beran, a lawyer and writer, is a contributing editor of City Journal and the author of Jefferson’s Demons. His previous book, The Last Patrician, was a New York Times Notable Book of 1998.

Theodore Dalrymple, a physician, is a contributing editor of City Journal and the Dietrich Weismann Fellow at the Manhattan Institute. His current book, Our Culture, What’s Left of It, is the second collection of his City Journal essays.

Nicole Gelinas, a contributing editor of City Journal, was previously a business journalist for Thomson Financial. She also wrote an op-ed column for the New York Post. Gelinas is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Robert P. George, the author of In Defense of Natural Law and The Clash of Orthodoxies, is McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence and director of the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions at Princeton University. He is a member of the President’s Council on Bioethics. His article is adapted from the Manhattan Institute’s 2005 Wriston Lecture.

Howard Husock, a contributing editor of City Journal, is the author of America’s Trillion-Dollar Housing Mistake. He is the director of case studies in public policy and management at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.

Kay S. Hymowitz, a contributing editor of City Journal and the William E. Simon Fellow at the Manhattan Institute, is the author of Liberation’s Children and Ready or Not.
