"Do you see Liberals--especially Jews--trying to save white conservatives in the South from black crime?"
I have little doubt that New York Liberals give short shrift to the interests and sensibilities of people who are not New York Liberals. However, the people responsible for improving public order in Louisiana live in Louisiana, not New York.
"Read the New York Review of Books for an unbelievably biased article where they refer to her judgement as a "searing, elegantly written, ruling . . .deBlasio's position was vindicated by a Federal Court""
The New York Review of Books once published not one but three articles by an English professor named Elaine Scarry whrein she instructed the National Transportation Safety Board how to do their jobs. The theses she was promoting about several recent plane crashes were implausible to any layman and knowledgeable students of the relevant engineering disciplines said what she was saying was absurd tommyrot. You would have thought that the general editor Mr. Silvers would have referred her submissions to someone from one of the local engineering faculties near his office for review and commentary, right? Not a whole lot of editorial judgment goes into that publication (when editorial judgement would scotch stories too good to check).
NYers are mostly Liberals who despise conservatives. Why do them a favor? Do you see Liberals--especially Jews--trying to save white conservatives in the South from black crime?
I say no more favors for NY Liberals. Let blacks rob, rape, and murder them.
Read the New York Review of Books for an unbelievably biased article where they refer to her judgement as a "searing, elegantly written, ruling . . .deBlasio's position was vindicated by a Federal Court" etc etc. Unbelievable.
No, that would imply she'd erred out of ignorance or carelessness.
Rather she is angry and indignant right now, like any spider with a thread of its web broken.
She was struggling for Progress with a capital A (for Anarchy).
Now she's been thwarted for a moment, but she'll be back with a Vengeance with a capital I (for Injunction).
An interesting legal question is what happens to the pending case if De Blasio is elected. I assume he would like to drop the appeal, but that does not answer the question of what happens to the stay that is currently in effect. Does the Second Circuit vacate the stay? Leave it in effect? Vacate the district court opinion and remand for retrial? I can't believe the Second Circuit would be required to leave in effect a district court opinion that is has concluded was tainted by unethical conduct on the part of the district court judge.
Yes Heather - if NY votes for deBlasio then they deserve Scheindlin and the chaos that will ensue when stop-and-frisk ends. As a resident of the distance suburbs I would like to see NYC be a safe home for thugs and crooks - because I don't want them coming out here to the suburbs.
