The WTC memorial should have been analyzed from that point of view. (It's too late now!) In a few years 9/11 will be a distant memory. Nobody will care how deeply the names are engraved. When water stops flowing down the walls, will the plumbing be fixed? What were the alternative uses of the space and the money? These are questions that should have been raised before the thing was approved. Thank you, may we never forget (or forgive), current "occupier" of the WH notwithstanding. Interesting article, and good descriptions...but there should really be some photos with this. |
