A two-headed snake that remains a Marxist, and always will. He takes our good-will offerings with one hand and shovels out critical support to Iran and any other viable enemies of the US. I will not sleep more peacefully from this article that is meant to allay my fears. AT 85, I don't give a rat's for myself, but my great grand kids deserve better.WII Sub Vet. Tom Clements March 10, 2011 at 5:34 PM The plutonium fuel (MOX) program at the Savannah River Site in South Carolina has turned into an expensive jobs program and there are no reactors lined up to use MOX fuel. MOX is sucking down vast sums of tax money, which should be directed to programs that actually increase world security, such as securing nuclear materials in the former Soviet Union. It would have helped the authors to have done some basic research about the troubled MOX program and the hurdles it faces. I suggest reading the following 10 March posting on the International Panel on Fissile Materials website about the MOX program for starters: http://www.fissilematerials.org/blog/2011/03/us_plutonium_disposition_.html |
