Race preferences is a form of racism. It is not different from what we experienced in Soviet Union, with (dominating nationality) preferences and nationality quotas in admission. We looked up at the United States, the land of equal rights. As George rightfully admitted, it is insult to all races and minority groups. There are more than enough qualified Latinos and Blacks to compete with other groups, which should be on individual level. Unqualified ones should not be given free path, as it leads to, among others, to ruined lives of students failing the challenges of Higher education and the life of constant unhappiness once they join the workforce.
